    I observe around me only too well how victim-blaming becomes a way to avoid looking at one’s self. Broken relationships, addiction, pain… But then my noticing how others do that without noticing my own can be my own way of avoidance can’t it?!

    Thanks Lucy, and of course you’re perfectly right. We are finely tuned to the crimes of others, and blind to our own prisons.
