  1. Dear S.Thomas aka Steve, somehow Thomas sounds more like you.
You are and ever have been a child of of Gods own – once in a while you re-connect with us who have met and admired your insistent and ongoing journey to God’s arms….there” is good in” you, it shines forth from your face, God has loved not only “liked” you all the days of your life – “persist in your holy purpose tho you l fail a thousand times a day.”
Love is all there is and God is love…
your friends in Christ, Shirley(and Eddie) Keen.
PS E and I are well, full of the Holy Spirit, our lives, lives of peace and “wild” love.
PPS I (Shirley) and a friend last Sept. walked the ancient pilgrimage route El Camino de Santiago de Compestela in NW Spain, it was incredible (still moments of profound insight, a shift in my heart”s beat, a letting go, a radical sense of freedom feeds me. All things and more…walked 20ks each day and at the end the gift of Mass at the anicent Cathedral where the bones of St. James rest…after a rest, then three days in the walled city of Avila where St. John of the Cross and St. Theresa walked the same cobbled streets….S

  2. Shirley (and Eddie of course), How lovely that you found me. And thank you so much for your comment. It’s so encourageing.

Well, I do envy–in all the right ways–your pilgrimage. It sounds like the experience was a deep and delightful gift to you. El Camino is still on my things-to-do-before-dieing list.

Continue to think of you both and perhaps we’ll catch up at St. Peter’s one day–or on some other path. (Still have your little cross on my night table.)

    Thanks again, S. Thomas

  3. Hi Shirley and Eddie, so nice to hear from you. We miss seeing and sharing with you. I too still have the little cross you made Shirley and also the birch heart. You are in our thoughts. Deb
